The Lviv Art Gallery

The Lviv Art Gallery is the biggest art museum in Ukraine where unique works of painting, sculpture, graphic, decorative-applied art of West and East European countries from the Middle Ages to the present are displayed.
The Lviv Historic Museum

Opening hours: 10 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. except Wednesday
The museum, based in three buildings on Rynok Square, includes more than 270,000 exhibits covering the history of Western Ukraine and its inhabitants from prehistoric times down to the present.
The National Museum in Lviv

Opening hours: 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. except Monday
This is one of the most significant museums of Ukraine, containing masterpieces of European artists: Pinsel, Polejowski, Filevych and others. Icon-paintings are the substance of the collection. The museum venue in Svobody Avenue houses a permanent exhibition of old Ukrainian art and the art of the 19th-early 20th century.
The Furniture and Porcelain Museum

The Furniture and Porcelain Museum includes Ukrainian and European furniture, textile, metal, porcelain and pottery from the Renaissance to the early 20th century.
The Museum of History of Religion
1, Stavropihiyska Str.
Opening hours: 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. except Monday
History of Religion is located in the Dominican Church and Monastery. Exhibits and displays are of unique cultural, artistic and historical value.
The Pharmacy Museum
2, Drukarska Str.
Opening hours: 10 a.m. —5 p.m. every day and 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. on Saturday
The museum collection traces the history of pharmacy from ancient
times to the present and includes exhibits from the old Lviv
pharmacies and some from other Western Ukrainian cities and towns.
In the basement one can taste medicinal "iron wine"

The Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life

Opening hours: 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. except Monday
The museum is located within the picturesque Znesinnya Park in the open air. It includes a number of miniature villages containing 15-20 architectural objects. In dwelling houses and in domestic buildings many examples of home use utensils, clothes, handicraft instruments, agricultural implements and transport facilities are displayed there.

Lviv is often called the Museum under the open air. This Museum includes Lychakiv cemetery with unique collection of gravestones and monuments. It is great treasury, school of Beauty, Art and Wisdom. The sculptural works of great famous masters, as Hartman Vitver, Anton and Johan Shimzer, Paul Outele, Julian Markovskiy, Tadeush Baronch, Zygmund Kurchynskiy, Teodoziya Bryzh, Evgen Dzyndra you can view on the cemetery.

Arsenal Museum (Museum of Weapon)

Pototsky Palace

Opening hours: during Summer period 11.00 a.m. -18 a.m. (entrance before 16.00) except Monday.

Exhibition of European art of ХIV-ХVІІІ с. Department of art gallery located in Potocki Palace - one of the most interesting monuments of Lviv XIX century. The interior of the palace is decorated with stucco, chandeliers, fireplaces, decorative grids and ceremonial salon mirrors. The exhibition shows the first floor interiors, the second - the art of Italy, France, Austria, Holland and other countries.
